The
Multipurpose Association of Local Governments of
Zalaegerszeg City and it’s Region was established in 2005 by
79 settlements. The members have 10 main activities in
partnership: regional development, education, social service,
health care, child care, mobile bibliotheque,
equal opportunities, employment, economic
and touristic development and internal check.
In it’s administrational unit – the Coordination Office
- work 10 employees, who achive great
successes in EU and national tenders.
From 2006 on
the Association developed and operates the system of
Local Employment Pact, which is it’s main project.
In 2006 it
won the prize „Best Regional Association
operating according to EU principles”, which has been
founded by the Hungarian Ministry of Local Government
and Regional Development.
